Rick Rubin's Ruthless Edit

Here's a YouTube "Short" featuring record producer Rick Rubin, former co-president of Columbia Records and co-founder of Def Jam Recordings, outlining essentially the same method of editing that I called "The Big Hits Method" in the post "How to Edit 500–1,000 Shots" the other day. He calls it "The Ruthless Edit" and notes that "it can be used for anything."
