Zack S. wrote to say, "Many years ago the CBC had a show called Nightfall which was a radio drama show and were mainly supernatural stories. Episode number 22, 'Deadly Developments,' is about photography and is quite good."
Here it is:
I don't think we've ever posted a radio show on TOP before! Always something new. Thanks Zack.

UPDATE from Zack S: "Here is a description of the episode; 'Professional photographer André Phillipe and his assistant Steve prepare for a photo shoot for an upcoming horror novel. They have acquired a Von Hensdorf—a rare camera from pre-war Germany—which has an unusual outcome when used.'"
Book o' the Week:
Ernst Haas: New York in Color 1952–1962. "When Haas moved from Vienna to New York City in 1951, he left behind a war-torn continent and a career producing black-and-white images. For Haas, the new medium of color photography was the only way to capture a city pulsing with energy and humanity. These images demonstrate Haas's tremendous virtuosity and confidence with Kodachrome film and the technical challenges of color printing."

Featured Comments from:
Earl Dunbar: "Oh! I used to listen to 'Nightfall' (though not every episode) from several of my homes in southern Ontario. CBC has an extraordinary place in my heart—in the '70s–'90s it was some of the best radio anywhere."
Cameras and horror sure seem to go together well, don't they? Not sure why, perhaps because the nature of capturing an image seems like magic?
Anyhoo, for short fiction I recommend "The Montavarde Camera" by Avram Davidson, and "The Rabbi's Hobby" by Peter S Beagle. One is about a camera with a dark history; the other is about a found photograph.
