Note that TOP is on a new schedule, posting every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with comments posted on the day following.
Yr. Hmbl. Ed. rashly promised a few weeks ago that each M-W-F post would appear at 7:00 a.m. Eastern U.S. Time. However, at the time I wrote that I was apparently momentarily insane. Stark barking. Loopy, crackers, bonkers, barmy. Daft, in short....
Must'a been. At least overly hopeful. You would think I would know myself better by now. I don't know what gets into me when I make promises like that.
Tomorrow's post will appear at 7:00 a.m., but that's the last one. After that, reality, and sanity, must return. Posts will in future appear on those days at some time or other.
There, that's more like Mike.
—Mike the unrealistic idealistic overoptimistic Head of the Dept. of Planning Dept.
Anyway, SOMEWHERE it will likely be ~ 7 A.M.

I seem to recall from a psych class many decades back that when conditioning a subject's behavior by providing rewards works best when the reward isn't entirely predictable. So your new schedule's variability is not just good for your mental health, it is nicely calculated to get us poor photo slobs strongly conditioned to keep coming back to your site. Well done!

When I make such a mistake, it always happens when I have a cranial-rectal inversion. No way around it; you just have to swear never to let it happen again, which it inevitably will.

Oh, I was skeptical. But, hope springs eternal.

I caught a glimpse of the camera in question on a TV news item.
Not 100% sure but it looked like a Mamiya C330.
For sure an intimidating terrorist weapon. No wonder that this 'Karen' mobilized all available defense forces.
