David Vestal at the Al Weber Rendezvous, by Larry Angier
After I posted the excerpt from David Vestal's newsletter GRUMP the other day, in the post titled "Predictions from the Past," I asked if anyone had a photo of David. Numerous people either sent their own photos or linked to various published ones in print or on the web, and thanks to you all.
This one is by Larry Angier, who also spun some delightful tales of the Monterey Peninsula "in crowd" and the Al Weber Rendezvous "(gathering of photographers to swap stories, lies, fellowship, annual portfolio presentation…)," where David, seen here, was the featured speaker in 2012. A stylish shot of David doing what he liked to do.
Here's Larry's Web page.
