Looks like the blog was down this morning. When this happens (as it does occasionally) all I can do it wait for TypePad to fix it. They have a Twitter feed (@typepad) on which they give updates as to what's happening. They're usually pretty good about it. I think the worst of these outages lasted something like six hours (but my memory for such things is poor).
I actually know very little about the mechanics of web publishing or programming, so I barely know more than any of my readers on this score, and I'm sure I know less than many of you do. Thanks to those of you who sent me a heads up.
Anyway, sorry for any inconvenience.

If you are interested, there are services out there that will notify you if a particular website is down. Doing a simple search, here are a couple (some free):
https://www.downnotifier.com/
https://uptimerobot.com/

Not that you can do anything about it if you are not in the driving seat, but you can set up alerts that will email you when your site is down.
uptimerobot and montastic are free to use.

No worries Mike. Film users are used to waiting and we don't suffer from immediacy anxieties.
