No doubt this is an annoying stretch to be a TOP reader, and I apologize. I've been under the weather and off my game, and don't think it's not frustrating for me too. A photo-friend called this afternoon who wanted to talk about scanning film—but he also happens to be a former top cardiac surgeon who was the first person in his state to perform the procedure I had. He says my current symptoms are not normal, but may not be serious. I see the cardiologist for the first time first thing tomorrow morning in a town 45 minutes away and then have a two-hour appointment with my own doc the day after. So the next few days are likely to be a bit light around here, no pun intended. I'm hoping this annoying interlude ends soon. Ends in a good way involving the restoration of normal services, I mean.
I'm sure a great many readers have undergone various medical tribulations too, most worse than mine, and I'm not complaining—it's just that it's so painfully public when I have to go to half-speed or take a few days off work. Sorry again!
