It's actually Black Friday today. Hard to believe....
Here is our link to B&H Photo's Black Friday deals and
Our link to Amazon's Black Friday deals. Because it's today.
I had a great Thanksgiving yesterday, thanks to Leslie and Kat. (I have to say, I love Thanksgiving. It's my favorite holiday.) Use our links and poke around at B&H and Amazon today. But get outside, too. Have a nice one!
Mike

Same here, tho in Germany we call it "Erntedankfest" (harvest-thank-fest, see also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harvest_festival about the one in Britain). Ours is usually on the first Sunday in October tho, much earlier than your Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite, too. How can you go wrong with a holiday that revolves around family/friends and a meal? Most in my family really enjoy cooking, so it's always held fond memories for me.
Great time for portrait grab shots, too!

Sorry Mike. I'm full-up with cameras and lenses.
But ... I recently purchased from BH (using the TOP link) a Canon PIXMA Pro-100 printer that comes with a $250 AmEx (rebate) gift card and a package of 13" x 19" Canon Pro Luster Photo Paper. Price after rebate: $149.99.

The Canon 5D Mark IV Black Friday sale at B&H does/did include the grip, normally $309 by itself. Such a great deal I could not resist.
Anybody want to buy a 5D Mark III with grip in great condition?
Proving once again that digital can be more expensive than film on a life cycle basis.

Nikon $750. Save $1429. Not really. The camera is always priced at $2300. But still, $400 savings is still good. I know nothing about the others.
I got a good deal, and actual 50% off an Olympus 45mm 1.8. I may have started that through a TOP link. I usually do try.

They're trying to make Black Friday and thing here in Canada, but for the most part I don't think it's catching on. Mainly due to the fact that the "sale" prices suck. The week before Christmas and Boxing Day are the big sales here.

Here in Portugal, thanks to globalization, we now have Black Friday, Black Weekend, and Cyber Monday.
Nothing to do with our culture and tradition, just plain consumerism.
