The news: all the ducks are in a row, all the systems are go, and we're ready and set to start the next book sale on Friday Tuesday. That's May 26th 30th. It'll be the first post I put up before after the holiday weekend.
We'll be offering three books courtesy of the good people at Yale University Press, our partners for this sale. One volume of the work of Paul Strand, and two by Lee Friedlander. Quite different photographers. All three books are beautiful.
I love these book sales because I truly love photobooks. They've always been a source of pleasure for me. As I've said before, these sales are a "win" for everybody—I make a little money, a publisher finds good homes for some orphaned overstock, and you get great books for a lot less than retail. Not necessarily in that order. (In this case, you'll be able to get $225 worth of books for $79. The only less expensive way to acquire them would be to steal 'em).
If you have any questions please ask, but I'll put all the details in the announcement on Friday Tuesday. Please check back with TOP then, or on the weekend.
Mike

Wait, you're posting your new book offer on the Friday afternoon of a major three-day weekend holiday?
I'll be on the road Friday afternoon, starting my Memorial Day trip, and I'm betting that will be true of a lot of Americans. Should I worry that the books will be sold out?
(signed, a happy customer of two earlier book sales.)
[Hi Joe, we changed it to Tuesday. So, no worries. --Mike]

Love that you do this -- such a wonderful way to build library & such a good way to really look at photographs. Thank You.
