TOP now updates five days a week and falls silent—well, relatively silent—on weekends, as I continue my valiant and so far successful fight against burnout. However, I've belatedly added some "Featured Comments" to last week's post, so you might want to check back to see those if you're interested.
On Monday I'll have more thoughts about printers, and on Tuesday we start our next book sale (nota bene), offering new old stock (NOS) copies of Keith F. Davis's The Origins of American Photography, the companion volume to his An American Century of Photography that we offered last February. The price is drastically reduced from the the cost of the book at publication. The two together offer the most complete and lavishly illustrated history of American photography up through ~2000 A.D. If you bought American Century I won't have to convince you of the quality of Origins.
Have a great weekend! We are anxiously awaiting clearing weather here at Keuka Lake, as I would say this very day is "peak color."
Mike

It's about peak colour here in northern england (AKA mid-Britain), too. I always think I should be taking wonderful shots of maple trees and pumpkins but somehow always seem to miss the best colour.
