TOP needs to make room and free up some discretionary funds, so I'll be doing a major "closet dump" sometime very soon. We'll be offering late-model, low-use digital cameras at substantial savings, lenses (including a few rare exotics), and film cameras (some fine, some funky) as well as my extensive collection of darkroom equipment. (Please, somebody report this on the APUG and the LFF!) For local buyers, some books and prints will also be on the block.
Please keep an eye out if you're interested.
Mike

Maybe you should have sold this stuff before you moved house???

Is your darkroom dream finally dead? If so, I'm quite sad about that--you seemed so enthusiastic about it. But at the same time, if it wasn't to be, then it wasn't to be. Perhaps you could delve back into digital printing again and give us a month or two of columns about your trials and tribulations...

Will it be open to the Canadians?

Oh, I was excited to be hearing about your darkroom adventures, especially now that you have a bigger house to make a better darkroom. Oh well. This having a girl friend thing sure is a bother. I speak from experience alas. Would not want to be without, though.

So... Just how much are wedding rings going for these days? ;)

"Maybe you should have sold this stuff before you moved house???"
There are several reasons why that doesn’t always work:
1) Before you move, you haven’t really looked at some of the things in a few years.
2) Things are tucked away in different places, and you don’t really appreciate how much extra you have until you get things organized in the new place.
3) Before you move, you think, “I need more space before I can start using this.” Afterward you realize that wasn’t the reason why.

AH HA! But it's the engagement ring that costs the big bucks.

I wish I could part with photog items filling my desk, dresser, various shelves around the house. But no, each item has value as I remember the time and place that I used them. Just unused stuff taking up space...one day!

Can you name the cameras' and lenses' brands you've got for sale?

Be sure to keep all your 24x36mm-format lenses for which an adapter for the Sony A7 already exists, or might exist in the future ;-)

'Tis the season for moving "stuff" from one owner to another. Right time of the year for it. Locally, garage sales, yard sales, church flea markets, all are burgeoning like the spring flowers.
So, is there an expensive ring waiting at the end of this transfer of wealth?
