Not an Apple phone, but two generations of Android phone now (an HTC and a Samsung, and I'm shopping for what's next) got to the point where technical quality is often adequate, but I find the workflow a terrible impediment. Everything is very slow, and everything is very random--you never know what's going to happen. I *do* have manual exposure control, though the interface is dodgy.

Come on seriously now. This is getting ridiculous. You swipe up the icon and it's ready. No number code required. It would be ready faster than a point and shoot out of your pocket. Faster to be ready than almost any other camera! As if the speed was really that relevant. Particularly if you've ever used a TLR before. I really think you are letting some kind of prejudice get in the way of using it Mike. It's getting a little embarrassing :). These barriers you are throwing up don't actually exist. Put them aside and start making some pictures!
