I'm finally back home in Waukesha, having driven 2,759 miles (4,440 kilometers) since Friday September 26th. I saw five sets of friends, one twice, and had a grand and meaningful vacation. It's done me a world of good.
I must say it's good to be back to my dogs and my regular keyboard, in that order, but otherwise I'd much prefer to still be where I was last weekend!
Right now I need to go to sleep in the worst sort of way, but I'll post a few snapshots from the trip in tomorrow's Morning Coffee.
Mike
"Morning Coffee" is a blip about nothing in particular auto-published weekdays at 3:30 a.m. Central Time to be in time for morning coffee breaks in the UK and Europe.

In France, when you travel, your train ticket shows the amount of carbon dioxide per trip - in kilograms. Next to it, the amount of CO2 you would emit if you went by car. By car, it's about 4 times bigger. Makes you think.
