Panasonic makes nice pocket cameras. (I'm kind of a Panasonic fan boy.) Amazon's Deal of the Day today [UPDATE: all gone now, so I've removed the link] is the Panasonic ZS25, a small-sensor 16-MP point-and-shoot with a Leica-branded zoom lens and image stabilization.
I haven't used one, but if you have family or friends who might appreciate a better-than-a-smartphone camera, the $110 price is tough to beat.

Mike:
You should post somewhere that these Amazon
Deals of The Day are applicable only in the United States! There's a long list of items incidentally that are US prices only, and cameras and in fact most electronic devices are included.

Perfect gift for my stepdaughter's upcoming birthday, thank you.

I bought my wife a ZS1 for her birthday 5 years ago. She is never without it ... and she is a long-time Nikon SLR/DSLR shooter. She loves the camera.
I saw this deal this morning, and jumped on it, to update her old one. Nothing like keeping a birthday present (and the associated love) fresh, y'know. (I'll probably keep her old one in my car, as an upgrade to the old Canon Powershot A530 that I keep there.)
