Reader Boris Liberman, who I believe writes from Israel, commented this morning after giving his answer in the "Your Favorite Digital Camera" post:
Oh, and it totally slipped my mind, but Mike—I think you ought to publish a digest or summary statistics of some sort....
I'm happy to say that our Filipino friend Sarge is back from Luzon and this morning has agreed to tabulate all those comments (all 388 of them, as of this morning!) for our edification. So if you haven't given your answer on the post yet, but would still like to, there's still time.
But please, try to restrict yourself to your FAVORITE digital camera. That means the one you liked best, not the four or six or whatever you've seen fit to buy, or the three you use for different applications. Sarge and I are trying to work out which answers we'll count. At this point I think we'll disregard any response that names more than two—maybe three—favorites, unless the commenter ranked them. It complicates statistical tablulation when lots of people mention only one camera and some people list five. Although of course it's perfectly understandable to do so in the context of the conversation.
Sarge is the statistical whiz, though, not me, so I'll probably let him decide what to do.
But if you'd like to participate and haven't yet, go back to the post and name your own fave. (Your single fave.) (Oh, and please don't try to stack the deck by mentioning this on other forums or websites you frequent, especially brand-exclusive sites. This is purely for fun, and there's no prize. Thanks.)
Mike
(Thanks to Boris and Sarge)
