Mike - this is _truly_ useful, to list good workshops that still have spots available.
I am definitely considering 1 or 2.

O_O. The route 66 one seems like it would be excellent. Most cities along Route 66 have been dying for 50 years, so there's no telling whether or not next year, or 5 years from now, we'll be able to take the same kind of pictures we can take now. Indeed, right now, it's almost perfect. You get natural beauty, 50s style, interesting people, and abandoned buildings. Anyone who likes any kind of photography would love that.

But I'm too poor. :(

I think Thom Hogan still has some openings in his upcoming shindig in africa. Since you're mentioning workshops and all.

I can highly recommend Peter Turnley s workshops as I have attended two ... Prague and Seville . If you enjoy street shooting or want to try it ..you can t find a better instructor and a better location than Peter s NYC workshop.
