WOW! I don't give a damn about horses, but the quality of many of those images nearly brings tears to my eyes. The sense of light, and of motion are truly magnificent.
Thank you for featuring it.

Wow, excellence indeed. That is totally amazing; a wonderful shot.

one image leads to another....
this one directly made me think of the superb work by the Icelandic Ragnar Axelsson.

The workshop looks great (no affiliation, BTW). Thanks for posting this Mike.

Nice work sure, but i think i have one or two horse photos way better than those.. of course he may not be showing his best work online.

Jozef, your Islandic link is to images as good as these. Thank you.

Wow! Truly a feast for the eyes. Beautiful horses, beautifully captured and presented.

Also in that issue, an article by Kathy Wise about Jack Brauer's mountain photography. Check out his Photo Gallery/Large Format Photos for inspiration on the weight of gear for a hike.

Beautiful image, Mike. Reminded me of Roberto Dutesco's work on the horses of Sable Island: http://www.dutescoart.com/gallery/sablehorses/index.html

Mike.

Thanks for the pointer to Axelsson, Jozef. He is, indeed, superb. The prints must be spec-tac-cular.

Dave

Emotionally powerful horse photos. Brilliant work. Many thanks for pointing out his work.
