You might notice a few compositional differences in the post above this one. That's because TypePad, the blogging service I use for this site, has introduced some nice new compositional features. I'll be able to change a few of the graphic standards of the interface. It might take a few weeks for this to settle down into new standard formatting.

Mike, I was going to mention my once-owned 35 Summicron-M as an example of what I have found to be pleasing bokeh, but I relearned after reading your link, "Bokehrankings," that you were/ are way ahead of me, as usual, but I'll mention it anyway. :)
The 35 Summicron-M renders out-of-focus as "undistorted" and "creamy." It seems to compliment the sharpness of a picture's subject in an undistracting way, at least to my way of seeing. Anyway . . . nevermind. :)
