I'm pleased to announce that I will be serving as a member of the judging panel for the not-for-profit Luminous Landscape Endowment. The Endowment itself is off to a fantastic start, having already attracted many individual and corporate donations in addition to the seed funding provided by L-L. The Endowment expects to begin accepting applications from photographers as early as October.
I was also happy to see that The Online Photographer has been selected to be on the blogroll at PDN Pulse, the news blog of PDN Online. PDN (Photo District News) is the leading journal of industry news and information for professional studio, advertising, and fashion photographers in North America.
Also, the post "Photography Does Not Exist Any More," below, has officially set the record for the most comments per word of any T.O.P. post ever.

Mike, does this mean that the video was normally priced at $29.95, and $5.00 was tacked-on for the endowment? Or instead, is some of the profit being sacrificed? Thanks.

Player,
As far as I know, the video has always been priced at $34.95 and the three principals are voluntarily donating some of their profit.

Mike, there maybe an inverse correlation between the amount of words you post, and the amount of comments generated...
