Help Sustain TOP with a Recurring Donation

The Online Photographer (T.O.P.) is a free site, not a paysite. You're always welcome here whether you contribute or not. The "Subscribe" buttons below (so-called because they sign you up for a recurring contribution) are voluntary payments that you can set up if you like the site.

Why recurring? Because it gives me a little income I can count on.

Remember, any contribution is generous! It makes you into a genuine T.O.P. patron and sustainer.

The standard subscription amount is $6. You can vary your contribution by choosing how often you wish to send it.*

The largest (most frequent) amount is very generous.

The smallest (least frequent) subscription is inexpensive. It amounts to 25 cents per month from you (we get a bit less, because of administrative fees). Since we average 45 posts per month, it works out to just about exactly half a cent per post. I know, some of them aren't worth that much. (Hey—I do not want to hear about it!) Hopefully, the ones where we give you our 2¢ worth will make up for that.

You can unsubscribe at any time.

Choose a frequency that seems the best for you:

Monthly:

Quarterly:

Semi-annually (once every six months):

Biennially (once every two years):

Thank you for helping to support our efforts!

*The reason we do it this way is because of PayPal's fee structure. For every payment you make, PayPal charges TOP 2.9% plus $0.30. That means for us to give you a very low monthly payment amount of, say, 32 cents, PayPal would take 31 cents of it, leaving us one cent! By charging you $6, PayPal takes 47 cents and we get to keep $5.53. I'm sure you can work out the arithmetic for yourself, but $6 per quarter = $2 per month; $6 twice a year = $1 per month, about the same as a mainstream magazine subscription; and $6 once every two years = 25 cents per month. For us to charge you 25 cents a month directly would cost us 6 cents per subscription! I'm not a business whiz, but even I can see it would be hard to make money that way. :-)
