It's a great day for America, everybody. (As Craig Ferguson says pretty much every day.) A great day period, if you like the darkroom, wherever you are, because Fotoimpex in Germany has recently introduced Adox MCC as a replacement for the late, much-lamented Agfa Multicontrast Classic (FB) and Adox MCP (seen here in the darkroom at NSSOM, Not-So-Stately Oren Manor—thanks, Oren) to replace Agfa Multicontrast Premium (RC). The new Adox MCC is said to be a dead ringer for the old MCC except that it is coated on a brighter white base. (Actually, the old MCC started out with a very warm base and got progressively whiter over the years of its lifetime. Agfa MCC FB was my standard paper for years—other papers came and went, but I used MCC from the day it was introduced until the day it met its sad demise.)
For those unfamiliar with the genus, these are variable-contrast black-and-white photographic enlarging papers. Alas, I can't recommend a developer, as the ones I used to use are gone now. I'd suggest staying away from Dektol (it has a tendency to go a little greenish with warm-tone papers) and finding a convenient warm-tone liquid developer.
The new MCC, which is roughly twice as expensive as the original (though still a most fantastic bargain when you consider the alternative is not having it at all) is available in the U.S. from Freestyle. They're sold out of the initial shipment, but are expecting another on November 11th.

ADDENDUM: I didn't look hard enough for a developer. Sal Santamaura points us to Freestyle's Print WA, its revival of Neutol WA, which was indeed my preferred developer for Agfa MCC. Thanks, Sal.
