What a wonderful portrait. Thanks for sharing Ernst!

You have 'down my alley': We have 'up my alley'.
You have 'exhibit': We have 'exhibition'.

Potato / potato.....

Let's call the whole thing off.

"I've always had a keen interest in portraits of famous photographers, so this was right down my alley."

By coincidence, I found a copy of this in a local charity shop, a week or so ago - cost me all of £2.50. It may interest you - assuming you don't already have it, of course.

The photographers' favourites are sometimes not quite what you'd expect and Ms McGhee's portraits are generally pretty good. IMHO. ;)

"Up my street", surely?

Mind you, we don't have alleys round here we have ginnels.
