So let's see a picture of your favorite camera, if you have one. (I know not everyone does, and that's okay.)
The TypePad Comments Section isn't set up to accept pictures easily, but here's how you can work around it:
First, you need your picture, no more than 470 pixels wide, saved as sRGB and on the Web so it has a URL.
Then use this code in the Comment box here on TOP:
...But replace the generic address with the URL of your picture. (Leave the quote marks as they are.)
If your picture is any wider than 470 pixels, it will appear cut off.
(You can also just post a link, but fewer people will see it.)
I'll post mine tomorrow. It may surprise you!
UPDATE: By the way, here's a little tip to "find your place" in the Comments, in case you've looked through a number of cameras and would like to check back later to see what's been added. At the bottom of every person's comment is a time-and-date stamp in green. If you click on that, it will give you the URL for that particular comment in your browser's address bar. You can then bookmark that. On returning to that bookmark, it will take you to the point in the Comments stack that you marked, allowing you to pick up viewing where you left off.
UPDATE #2: For some reason people are having trouble linking pictures on Google Photos, SmugMug, Flickr, and some other sharing sites. I don't know why. In cases where the link hasn't worked I've just substituted a link to your image. —Mike the Ed.
John Krumm adds: "A tip to link to Smugmug in these comments: Click the share button, then pick the right sharing size (small if horizontal, up to large if vertical). Then you choose 'html' instead of the direct link. Copy and paste the code into your comment. This will put a nice copy of your photo here that links back to your gallery. Be sure to test it out by choosing 'preview' before posting."
