This is lovely quiet photography - thanks Mike.

Gosh, I almost dismissed this post based on a cursory glance at the photo, but went ahead and clicked on the slideshow link and am glad I did ! I decided quickly that I don't have time to look at them in any depth, and will come back to them tonight.

Thanks for pointing these out -- really pretty pictures on their webpage. This style of photography is opposite of what I try for but I'm inspired anyways. Plugged blacks and blown out whites add drama. Even us "straight" photographers can pull those ticks out of the bag from time to time.

Very nice. Reminds me of the earlier work by Yamamoto Masao.

Thanks for that, Mike. I spent a lot of time looking at those. Really nice work.
