A few "last remaining places" in workshops offered by TOP contributors or advertisers—
Steve Kossack has one place remaining in his Glacier National Park Workshop, which I hear is spectacular, and two places left in his workshop at the landscape photographers' Mecca, Yosemite National Park. If you'd like a vicarious pleasure, just go read the description of his small-group Yosemite High Country Backpack Expedition and Workshop—I think I'd go along even without a camera. Photography a bonus.
Peter Turnley has a couple of places left in his upcoming New York Street Photography Workshop at the end of this month—May 30th to June 5th. Like Steve's, a small group workshop with lots of personal attention. Peter has guest presenters, too, from his many friends and extensive contacts in the N.Y. photography community. Learn from the master.
And speaking of New York, Carl Weese will be giving a weekend workshop in July at The Center for Alternative Photography called "Platinum Printing with Carl Weese." (Go to the link then scroll down till you see it; there's no direct link.) You'll make your own prints—both traditional and Ziatype—and leave with enough knowledge to continue on your own.
Alain Briot has two upcoming workshops with limited openings: Mono Lake and Eastern Sierra Nevada, two seats left; and Route 66, four seats left. Also sounding mighty tasty is The 2010 Fine Art Digital Summit with Alain Briot, Mac Holbert and Uwe Steinmueller, for which registration opened not too long ago.
